ccrd partners is proud to announce our newest LEED Acredited Professionals (AP), Lynn Eisenbeck, Jon Carter, Danna Jensen, Jared Machala and Drew Rose. At ccrd partners, our dedication to sustainability and “healthy” building design is rooted in all aspects of the work that we do. ccrd has 11 LEED^APemployees and multiple projects that are striving for or have achieved LEED status including: C.S. Mott Children’s and Women’s Replacement Hospital (Ann Arbor, Michigan), Southern Methodist University, Embrey Hall Mechanical Engineering Building (Dallas, Texas), Texas Christians University, Dell Children’s Medical Center of Central Texas (Austin, Texas) and Saint Mary’s Duluth Clinic Expansion (Duluth, Minnesota). ccrd partners continues to invest in LEED education through study groups and interoffice video conferences. Study groups reviewing the LEED reference guide meet weekly to discuss the synergies and strategies of sustainable design and prepare to become LEED^AP. The study group also joins current LEED accredited professionals and engineers involved in LEED projects during a monthly video conference between offices to discuss new technologies and design considerations. These two programs concurrently support an effort to keep sustainable design relevant in LEED projects and conventional design strategies.
