Metro Park Office Park, located in Springfield, VA is a Class A office development owned by ING Clarion and managed by Akridge. The conference center located at 6363 Walker Lane is offered as an amenity to the tenants located within the office park. Although the building itself is not LEED Certified, the project team was able to achieve LEED Platinum Certification for this 4,500 square foot conference center. This project is the first LEED Commercial Interiors project in the state of Virginia to achieve Platinum level certification, and only the 8th commercial interiors project on the East Coast to achieve this certification level.

The space was in shell condition at the start of the project. The conference center includes a reception area, large kitchen and bar area, several large conference rooms featuring folding partitions, state of the art AV equipment, and is available for use by all tenants in the building. The project also included staff offices, corridors and elevator lobby renovations which serve as the Property Management Office for Metro Park. The scope included all new mechanical systems and high end finishes such as stone walls and countertops, upgraded lighting, and flooring.

Metro Park Conference Center is LEED Platinum certified.
