The first phase of a four-phase campus development for Nokia Americas, a communications technology leader, is a 300,000 square foot, four-story headquarters office building. The pre-cast concrete project included shell, finish out and parking structures. Amenities include research and development laboratories, state of the art A/V and conference centers, a fitness center and open and closed space. The campus setting features a man-made lake, jogging trail and volleyball court.
The overall office building included 50,000 square feet of electronics type R&D labs, 5,000 square feet MIS, a food service facility, a health/fitness facility and 20,000 square feet of training classrooms.
Systems features include the following:
• (3) 380 ton air-cooled chillers
• (1) 750 KW diesel engine-generator for standby electric power for life safety & MIS
• (1) 150 KVA UPS for the MIS
• Full smoke control and exhaust systems
