Commissioning Engineering
Project Team Cooperation
ccrd is all about collaboration and problem solving. That’s why we offer some of the industry’s most thorough commissioning services. Our commissioning group works tirelessly to add structure, form, and substance to the process of construction. While our process follows ASHRAE, PECI, NEBB, and AABC guidelines, the ccrd commissioning process exceeds these standards significantly. ccrd’s experience and background has led to improved procedures and guidelines for a proactive, continuous flow approach to component verification, startup, functional testing, and system testing. This process provides quality, “as designed” functioning systems on time and on budget for the building owner. We are also available to advise and oversee sustainability modifications throughout the commissioning process.
During the post-construction period ccrd provides bench marking and system optimization service ensuring that your building performs as predicted by your A&E teams energy modeling. Factors such as BAS control dynamics, intended occupancy scheduling and energy conservation measures are verified and energy modeling is confirmed and/or adjusted so it can become a real time predictive tool for cash flow development through retrofit projects.
Take a look at some of our most recent Commissioning projects.
Armed Forces Reserve Center
The Armed Forces Reserve Center Building is a 2 and 3-story, non-residential mixed-use facility which includes administrative areas, classrooms, an assembly hall, commercial kitchen, toilets, shower and locker areas; supply and unit storage with arms vaults; facility maintenance/support areas, equipment rooms including mechanical HVAC, plumbing, electrical, data/communications, controlled access, fire alarm and fire protection systems, and loading docks with levelers.
Parkview Regional Medical Center
This new facility includes a brand-new, state-of-the-art core hospital and central plant, as well as specialty centers for heart, neurosciences, oncology and orthopedics.
British Petroleum Helios Plaza
ccrd was involved in the commissioning of this LEED® Platinum Certified facility as part of British Petroleum (BP) expansion in the Houston area. With the construction of their Westlake Campus, BP needed a commissioning resource they could trust.
Parkland Hospital
ccrd is always looking for opportunities to add value and collaborate on healthcare-related engineering projects. The Parkland Health & Hospital System project was just that sort of opportunity.
