The Armed Forces Reserve Center Building is a 2 and 3-story, non-residential mixed-use facility which includes administrative areas, classrooms, an assembly hall, commercial kitchen, toilets, shower and locker areas; supply and unit storage with arms vaults; facility maintenance/support areas, equipment rooms including mechanical HVAC, plumbing, electrical, data/communications, controlled access, fire alarm and fire protection systems, and loading docks with levelers.

The Joint Vehicle Maintenance Facility is approx. 45,830 SF, 1 story, with vehicle maintenance bays, tool and supply storage, admin. areas, classroom, breakroom, toilets, shower and locker areas, facility maintenance/support areas. Both the AFRC and the JVMF will include Anti-Terrorism and Force Protection measures.

Exterior supporting facilities include an Unheated Storage Building of approx. 7,875 SF.; a Vehicle Wash Bay Pad of approx. 3,330 SF; and a Fuel Dispenser of approx. 1,817 SF. All of the Buildings will be designed and constructed to comply with LEED V3.0 Silver Rating criteria, and will incorporate sustainable design elements such as energy lighting controls, energy saving HVAC systems and controls, recycled building materials, and water saving plumbing fixtures.

As Commissioning Authority ccrd partners scope includes full ASHRAE Guideline 0 Cx process including both Fundamental and Enhanced LEED Commissioning. The scope includes peer level design reviews and Architectural Building Envelope commissioning. All documentation is with our electronic web based System (QuiCx) using field tablet computers for real time onsite testing documentation.
