The Dedman Center for Lifetime Sports expansion and renovation included 154,000 square feet of indoor recreational space plus an outdoor social area. The upscale facility includes basketball/volleyball courts, indoor track, weight training, racquetball courts, aerobics, multi-purpose for indoor soccer, classrooms, café and conference facilities. The existing gymnasium’s end wall was torn down to open into a two-story atrium with a 40’ high climbing wall and 14’ high bouldering wall. A new natatorium was constructed and site re-developed for sand volleyball courts and fountain pool.

- The Falls – zero entry pool with 7-foot waterfalls
- Cardio Overlook – elliptical machines and treadmills
- Lounge – with computer terminals and a big-screen TV
- Martial Arts/Cheer Room – 1,900 square feet with padded floors and walls
- Men’s, Women’s, and Family locker rooms
- Open-Air Rotunda Entry/Plaza
- Outdoor Adventure Area – checkout tents, backpacks, kayaks, etc.
- Outdoor Water Recreation Area
- Recreation Pool – 25 meter, five lane swimming pool
- Spinning Room – convertible to aerobic/dance rooms
