Our unique MEP solutions have equipped millions of square feet of leading-edge laboratories; some of which include the country’s most critical research facilities. The list includes Clinical, Biocontainment, Industrial, Research and Development (R&D), Production, and Nanotechnology facilities. In addition, ccrd has a long-standing working relationship with several government entities. We have completed projects for NASA, the Department of Homeland Security, and the National Institute for Health, just to name a few. This experience has given us an intimate knowledge of government contracts and has built a reputation for quality service and detailed documentation.

National Bio and Agro Defense Facility
Researching and developing response measures for high-consequence livestock diseases is a sensitive, collaborative process and so is being the engineering firm responsible for lead mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design for a facility as complex as this. ccrd has been charged with the task of providing all this plus specialty fields of engineering for the BSL-4 facility, the FDA current Good Manufacturing Practice Facility, site infrastructure, and commissioning specialty research laboratories.
National Biodefense Analysis & Countermeasures Center
Since the inception of the Department of Homeland Security, the National Biodefense Analysis and Countermeasures Center (NBACC) has developed the science critical to defend the nation against bio-terrorism. The ccrd team is collaborating on more and more Science and Technology engineering projects like this one.
Shell Technology Center
The Shell Technology Center – Americas is one of many engineering projects completed by the ccrd team that is expected to be LEED® certified. This facility is anticipating LEED® Silver Certification.
Galveston National Laboratory
Biocontainment is one of the most challenging Science and Technology categories that the ccrd team routinely works on. Every one is different. Each require keen problem-solving skills and intense collaboration. Little wonder, ccrd has been invited to engineer so many of these facilities.
