Research + Labs
A building´s systems must reflect its occupant´s unique needs. How do you make a lab sterile enough for moon rocks? How do you contain highly toxic chemicals? The problem-solvers at ccrd have engineered the solutions.
The ccrd partners design philosophy is focused around creating facility design solutions that support and enhance the work that takes place within them. Today´s research facilities must be designed to support a flexible, collaborative, and safe environment. ccrd partners supports the advancement of research and have designed unique MEP solutions for millions of square feet of new laboratories; some of which include the countries most critical research facilities.
The utility needs of laboratories and research facilities require specialized systems while addressing environmental health and safety concerns and the handling of hazardous chemicals. Our knowledge and understanding of the development process and specialized equipment allows us to assist in the detailed planning process necessary to design these complex facilities. Our designers have the experience necessary for designing development facilities that are flexible, adaptable and cost-effective.
ccrd partners has provided engineering and design services for some of the most advanced Science + Technology facilities in the country including Clinical, Biocontainment, Industrial, Research and Development (R&D), Production, and Nanotechnology facilities. In addition, ccrd partners has a working relationship with government entities. We have completed projects for NASA, the Department of Homeland Security, and the National Institute for Health, just to name a few. We are familiar with the working terms of government contracts and have built a reputation for quality service and detailed documentation.
