Higher Education
For ccrd partners, the design of MEP systems for academic institutions in existing campus settings has figured centrally in much of our firm´s recent work. We take pride in our reputation for the design of buildings which are carefully crafted to meet specific programmatic needs and yet which complement and enhance the function and safety of academic campuses. We have had great success in working closely with University staff and other experts in the ongoing function and maintenance of the campus to ensure that the completed facility is efficient and cost-effective in the long term.
We understand that academic institutions are represented by many individuals, who bring to a project different and, at times, conflicting interest. We use a variety of presentation techniques during a project, emphasizing systems that are most appropriate to the issues at hand. We also bring a variety of sophisticated virtual and three dimensional rendering and animation tools to our projects.
We understand that a campus and buildings will become a lasting physical representation of values, institutional identity, and commitment to quality. We will work to plan and design building systems that will compliment these values for generations to come.
