Commissioning

The ccrd partners commissioning group adds structure, form, and substance to the process of construction. While our process follows ASHRAE, PECI, NEBB, and AABC guidelines, the ccrd commissioning process exceeds these standards significantly. ccrd partners experience and background has led to improved procedures and guidelines for a proactive, continuous flow, daily, approach to component verification, startup, functional testing, and system testing. This process provides quality, "as designed" functioning systems on time and on budget for the building owner.

As a member of the project team, ccrd partners provides in depth project review in the Pre Design, Design Development, and Construction Document Review Phases. In addition, constructability reviews, including analysis of phased design construction, provide a complete and rational plan set for final bid and construction. ccrd partners oversees owner guidance maintenance personnel training and has developed a classroom, hands on, and operational training process. The training is scheduled in conjunction with the owner´s maintenance and user groups and is geared for maximum convenience and value. ccrd partners works with the building owner and construction manager to develop a schedule that allows instruction on each device the owner identifies as pertinent and allows for the proper time frame to complete all owners training prior to substantial completion.

Throughout the construction period commissioning process, ccrd partners will perform Component Verification Infrastructure Testing, Pre and Final equipment start up and Integrated System Verification. This process ensures that the equipment or material used in the building process meets the description in the specifications and provides a fully functioning building at substantial completion for the owner and users groups. During the post-construction period ccrd partners provides bench marking and system optimization service ensuring that your building performs as predicted by your A&E teams energy modeling. Factors such as BAS control dynamics, intended occupancy scheduling and energy conservation measures are verified and energy modeling is confirmed and/or adjusted so it can become a real time predictive tool for cash flow development through retrofit projects.
